Portroids is a project run by a 36 year old mystery man... He basically jams a Polaroid in your face, takes a photo and whether your famous or not asks you to autograph the aforementioned Polaroid before it develops...Why? who bloody knows, he offers no explanation on his website or blog but from the archives it appears he's been at it for 7 long years... makes for some pretty interesting results... Poor Adrian Grenier looks a little shocked if you ask me...

Also, I do ask permission before I jam my Polaroid in people's faces, though I can see it as being somewhat jarring sometimes. I do like being referred to as a mystery man, though, so thanks :)

ReplyDeleteI only stopped updating the FAQ. The site continues to grow all the time. I recently posted up portroids of Conan O'Brien and some of the staff from his tour, some cast members from Lost, and last night got a portroid of JB Smoove from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
