Hello world. If you have not heard the majority of the east coast of Australia is currently under water. From northern Qld right down to Grafton in NSW, with Victoria on high alert we are one soggy nation at the moment. I know horrible natural disasters happen the world over every day.... and heres the skinny on what this one is doing to us.19,700 properties are flooded, 2100 roads and streets are blocked, Brisbane CBD is currently 5.5m underwater surpassing the 1974 peak of 5.45m. 70,000people in southeast Queensland are without power. Numbers aside people have watched from the momentary safety of roofs as their possessions (and often loved ones) were swept away. 100's are reported missing and 15 have been confirmed dead.
